The project aims to provide long-term and palliative care services for children with life-limiting illnesses in Georgia. These are children who often suffer from a range of neurological and genetic disorders from birth that are incompatible with life in the long term. The project will build professional capacity in palliative care, establish a centre providing long-term and palliative care services and build new therapeutic facilities in a children’s hospice in Tbilisi. The project aims to contribute to the establishment of an appropriate social protection system at the national level and to ensure its accessibility for selected groups of vulnerable people.
