Why do so called developed countries, i.e. USA, UK, have crimes than other countries?

We perhaps don’t have more crime…it’s just that the media is better at reporting it so that it appears that we do….
when anything happens in the UK OR USA its all over the news so it looks like it always happens in these countries, we never really hear what happens in auastralia unless if involves a UK person or it is really big news. but i suppose a lot of thing happen in auatralia as well, we heard about the big brother thing with the 2 men and the poor girl,
I agree with the media statement.But since when do we liscense lesbians? And why are liscensed lesbians a crime? I don’t understand what that part means. And how can you say rape is on the rise? I know where I live, our violent crime level has gone down. You need to clarify your question. Last time I looked, AIDS was on the rise in Africa at a much more alarming rate than here. Do a little research before asking questions.
