main tasks and activities

The statutory tasks of the Agency include:

• in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic it identifies themes of the development cooperation of the Czech Republic in partner countries
• it is responsible for tenders and grant calls as well as for complementary documents
• it informs the public about the results of the development cooperation of the Czech Republic
• it supports Czech entities in engaging in projects of other donors and international organizations through trilateral projects
• it supports capacity building processes of non-profit organizations as well as of other entities

 

Main activities of the Agency build upon the statutory tasks and they are:

• identification, formulation and monitoring of bilateral projects of development cooperation between the Czech Republic and partner countries
• support and implementation of projects focused on temporary expert assignments and on cooperation with the private sector
• support of trilateral projects co-financed by other donors
• support of local projects aimed at raising awareness about development cooperation and capacity building of Czech entities
