Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek visited Palestine

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic visited Palestine on April 4-5, 2016. He met his Palestinian counterpart Minister Riad Malki with whom he discussed bilateral agenda and cooperation as well as the situation in the Middle East and the migration crisis in Europe. Minister also visited Tubas, there he met Governor of Tubas Mr. Rabieh Al Khandaqji and visited the centre for maintaining transformers and the solar panel power station financed through the Official Development Assistance of the Czech Republic.

Minister Zaorálek also visited Tubas Charitable Society, beneficiary of Czech ODA. On the occasion of minister’s and Governor’s visit a new contract concerning implementation of a small local project focused implementation of a local small scale project within the framework of the transition promotion program of the Czech Republic on protection of women’s right was signed. During the visit Minister Zaorálek took part together with Palestinian minister of transportation Sameh Tubeila in the opening ceremony of the Škoda Car showroom in Nabulus.
