Top researchers from Czech University of Life Sciences (CULS), Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) and Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS) will study the interactions between nomadic herding and wildlife management, using key methods in analyzing biological diversity and ecosystems, wildlife management and their interactions with domestic livestock. The project will organize two summer schools in Mongolia, each with audience of 80-100 students and lecturers and a field exercise. The project also includes joint research between the three key institutions, focusing on wildlife protection against dzud, in the context of measures adopted by herders.
