Providing new equipment for Moldavian fire fighters

November 2013, project “Improvement of fighting power and professional competence of the Moldovan firefighters” has supported a Moldavian fire brigade by new professional equipment. During the ceremony, the firefighters took over a tanker, fire suits, equipment intended for salvage of crashed cars and to stabilize buildings. Moldavian firefighters had already an opportunity to use them during the training provided by the Czech fire brigade in the Czech Republic. They have been instructed how to deal with fire protection, integrate rescue system, critical management or inhabitants protection. In addition, thanks to the Czech development cooperation, Local Authority for the extraordinary situation provides further training in frame of a new program for Moldavian fire fighters and their mentors according a new curriculum.
